Custom game
Have Maketools design a game for your organization or adapt a catalog game. How it works, lead times, starting price and how to ask.
A catalog game does not quite fit your need? The Maketools team can design a game for your organization, or adapt an existing game to your business, your teams and your visual identity. It is a service on quotation, on top of your plan: available whatever your organization's plan (Free, Plus or Pro), and included in an Enterprise agreement according to its terms.
What we do for you
- Adapt a catalog game: your cases, your vocabulary, your rules, your colors and images, in your teams' languages.
- Create a new game: a concept built around your goal (data and AI literacy, AI Act training, an event, onboarding…), on the Maketools common engine: end screen, verified scores, statistics and exports come built in.
How it works
- You describe your project in the form (see below). We call you back within 48 hours to scope it: goals, audience, timeline, available content.
- We send you a proposal: game concept, content, price, schedule and acceptance steps. Nothing binds you until you accept this quotation.
- Your game is delivered in 3 weeks after your go-ahead: ready to play, in your colors, and granted to your organization only. You fork it, deploy it and follow its statistics like any other game.
Our custom games start from €5,000 excluding VAT. The exact price depends on the scope of the game (adaptation or creation, amount of content and number of languages); it is set in the quotation.
Sending a request
Click the Custom game button in the catalog, on a game page or in the studio. Give your name, your business email address, your company and a few words about your project; the other questions (role, goal, number of players, deadline, language) are optional but help us prepare the call. From the studio or a game page, the request also tells us which game it comes from.
You immediately receive an acknowledgement by email; to add anything, just reply to it. Your request is not stored in the platform: it reaches our sales team by email (see the privacy policy).
What the contract says
- The service is governed by the accepted quotation, then by the terms of sale (article 4.4 "Custom services").
- It is invoiced separately from your subscription, according to the payment schedule of the quotation, and changes neither the price nor the limits of your plan: a delivered private game takes an online private game slot like any other.
- On the Enterprise plan, the custom games provided for in the agreement are included.
